Without a doubt, this is my FAVORITE episode of the Ryan Leckey Show EVER. Just in time for Mother’s Day, today we are talking to The One, The Only, The Truly Great One: my favorite human being: Debi Morgan, aka my Mama. ❤️
A bit about Mama D. She is a leader in the field of nursing… and she has more than four decades of experience. My Mama has dedicated herself to the art of nursing. She has her doctorate in nursing, specialized wound care training and more! She is also a seasoned expert in hospital administration. In her semi-retirement life, her talents are often sought after by law firms to consult on medical malpractice cases.
In this no holds barred episode, Mama Debi and I discuss everything from her life as a working single mother of two small children to her recent relocation to Pennsylvania with her BFF goldendoodle, after living the beach life on the Florida coast. We also talk about my own personal coming out story and consequently, my mother’s reaction to her newfound role within the LGBTQ+ community.
Upon “meeting” my mom in this episode, I am confident you will get a better understanding of exactly who Ryan Leckey really is and where the passion and energy I have for life comes from. As I have heard many times before when people have met my mother: “Well now it all makes sense.”
