Service Dog Superheroes

In this episode of The Ryan Leckey Show, we delve into the lives of two remarkable veterans, Mel and Jeff, who have both faced unimaginable challenges during and after their service. Joined by the compassionate forces behind Stand With Me, a service dedicated to training service dogs for veterans, this conversation sheds light on the healing power of four-legged friends.
Meet Mel, a valiant former Navy service member, who bravely opens up about the internal war that followed her during the years after her service. Discover how Goose, her Service Dog, has offered her a beacon of hope and an unspoken understanding that has been pivotal in her journey towards recovery.
